Laser Brazing
Laser Brazing is a metal-joining process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint using Laser as a heat input, the filler metal having a lower melting point than the adjoining metal.
- Creation of smooth, impenetrable seams, which don’t require any rework after the brazing process
- Painting possible immediately after the brazing process
- Low heat input into the base material -> low deformation
- No destruction of the zinc coating
- High process speed
- Stable processes
