Laser Brazing

Laser Brazing is a metal-joining process in which two or more metal items are joined together by melting and flowing a filler metal into the joint using Laser as a heat input, the filler metal having a lower melting point than the adjoining metal.

  • Creation of smooth, impenetrable seams, which don’t require any rework after the brazing process
  • Painting possible immediately after the brazing process
  • Low heat input into the base material -> low deformation
  • No destruction of the zinc coating
  • High process speed
  • Stable processes
